New Zealand is a hiker’s paradise, with treks like the one to Mount Roy with a summit that towers nearly 5,200 feet above sea level.
From the top, you can take in a breathtaking 360-degree view of most of Lake Wanaka, Mount Aspiring, Matukituki Valley, the Wanaka township, and see even as far as Hawkdun Range in Central Otago.

You’ll get the best views from above so may want to make the most of the many sky dive schools and drop zones across the country where you can go solo or tandem as you soar through the air.
