I have started traveling solo, when I was 17 years old. It took me a while to overcome my fear of traveling alone. In the end of my trips, I always realize that even though, I leave my home alone, once I arrive to the destination, I am never alone, because I always meet fellow travelers and locals. These days, I m thrilled by the idea of venturing out to the World alone and meeting new people along the journey. I started writing about my solo adventures on my blog two years ago. This year I have visited 24 countries and I wrote about many destinations, hotels and tours along the journey.

Cuba has recently opened up to US tourists. As Cuba has been a dictatorship for over 50 years, there used to be a policeman standing on every corner. These days there is less police presence, but the country is still very safe in comparison to other Caribbean Islands. Infrastructure is underdeveloped, but you can find your way around by hiring private drivers for not too much money. The locals are very friendly and helpful. Uruguay is one of the safest, wealthiest countries of South-America. Montevideo is a charming city on the beach with nice restaurants and large shopping malls.
